2. Describe your design (i.e. bear or princess), we get alot of art and emails, this helps tracking down your art

4. If purchasing image, enter Image ID number of stock.adobe.com, the site the image is located and any design direction
5. Watch your email  for design proof to approve.

ORDER SELECTION OPTIONS:

ONLY ART THAT IS PRESS READY - MEANING EXACT PRINT SIZE and RESOLUTION CAN ORDER PRESS READY OPTION.
PRESS READY Explanation: It is only for art that is truly ready to go to print. We print exactly what you send assuming you know how how to properly create and set up a file. That means we do NOT touch anything other than a quick look to make sure there are no red flag quality issues. If your resolution is 72 dpi, if your dimensions are not correct, we will ask you to fix, or we can fix for the $35 upgrade fee to Basic Layout. If we have to change anything, edit anything, this is NOT the option for you. If you are unsure if your art i set up correct, there is a good chance it is not and you should select the BASIC LAYOUT OPTION. If reading or unsure how to "make your width and length dimensions 1" larger than your actual board at minimum 200 dpi (preferably 300 dpi)", if that does not make sense, then order the "BASIC LAYOUT OPTION". There is a very good chance any AI art you create is NOT Press Ready.

"+ Basic Layout" Explanation: If we have to crop the image, resample the dimensions to your board size, or adjust the resolution of the image you submit. If your image is low resolution with pixel and color distortion- and we have to use AI upscaler to try to get it a print quality, then purchase the "+ LAYOUT DESIGN"

"+ IMAGE AND BASIC LAYOUT" If we are purchasing an image from vecteezy.com or stock.adobe.com, select "IMAGE AND BASIC DESIGN" option.

Select "CUSTOM DESIGN" for and order that that requires more labor than simple resizing and upscaling. If we are doing creative work, collaging images, altering purchased images beyond cropping or creating something from scratch, please order the CUSTOM DESIGN option.

The price differences compensate us for the time and the professional skill it takes to get your art press ready, the correct size and the extra communication it takes to talk you through the process and get design approval. Unlike other vendors who just print anything you send, we want to make sure that your art is print quality, so you are happy with your purchase. That extra time and effort makes a huge difference in providing a quality product.

Beware of others will just print what you send. There is a good chance your image will arrive pixelated and blurry as printing large format needs to start with high quality images.

A NOTE ABOUT AI ART:

Anyone can generate art very fast now. But AI art generation is still pretty limited in its capabilities to produce large format files. So what it does is is create a screen rendering then “upscales” is to the dimensions you ask. By scaling it up, it is not a true high quality rendering. In order to get to the size, resolution and dimension needed for snowboard size, the upscale adds fake pixels into get it to the size it needs. This causes pixelation and color discoloration.  Think of it like baking. You AI gives you enough ingredients to make a cupcake, but you need a sheet cake. You don’t have high quality ingredients to make it your cupcake bigger so AI baker throws in some dirt, mud and stuff from the floor to make it bigger. Sure it will take up the same size as a sheet cake, but it is not the same quality. That is what upscaling does. it just fills it in with similar colors, but not actual detail. If you are starting with an image too small, no AI or image size adjustment can make it a true high resolution and it will print pixelated with blurry edges and color distortion instead of crisp sharp lines and in focus image with a lot of detail.

If you are using a AI subscription service that actually creates high resolution art. Please specify your board dimensions plus 1 inch and 300 dpi. Also do not request it as a snowboard. Do not send it to use looking like a snowboard clipped to a snowboard shape with screw holes and shadow edge contour. WE NEED TH IMSGE TO BE JUST A LARGE RECTANGLE WITH THE IMAGE GOING ALL THE WAY TO THE EDGE. YES, SOME OF THAT IMAGE WILL TRIM OFF, BUT THERE IS NO WAY TO DESIGN,PRINT OR INSTALL THE WRAP YO YOUR EXACT SNOWBOARD SHAPE. Having your image bleed to the all edges of rectangle allows for easier install. Just be aware of where your board tapers and where boots go so important graphics are not trimmed off or covered up. There is no way for AI to know the contour of your board. We give you a giant rectangle wrap to the dimensions you specify, you apply it to your snowboard, and then you trim off the extra overhang vinyl with a brand new razor blade using the boards actual edge as a guide.

This snowboard wrap is for UP TO 65"x14" size. Enter your exact dimensions rounded up to the nearest inch in the order comments if you want the wrap trimmed to a different size. If left blank you art will be sized for a 14"x65" board. For board sizes larger than 14"x65 please message up for a price, there maybe a slight additional charge.

ORDER OPTIONS: (Here's what you should select)

PRESS READY ART:
Select this if your art is 100% press ready. We check the file size and resolution and image quality for pixelation. (Document needs to be sized 1" larger than your board dimensions OR 14"x65" at 200DPI saved as a high quality JPG, TIF or PDF file). If you are sending us pictures and we have to crop, scale, set up the art board and do the layout, then select the next option (+ IMAGE/BASIC LAYOUT). If you have questions if your file is set up correct, you can send to us before ordering at orders@monkeybartarps.com

+ BASIC LAYOUT:
This is a 14x65 wrap + image and basic layout. Select this this option if you have and image you want to send to us. We crop to the board dimensions and do very basic layout. Basic layout is minimal layout to crop to the board specifications and make sure art is press ready. You will receive a design to review and approve. The extra fees cover the time it takes to create your design files and the extra time needed for communication of design approval. Email your image to orders@monkeybartarps.com If it is not high enough resolution we will let you know.

+ BUY IMAGE & LAYOUT:
This is a 14x65 wrap + image and basic layout. Select this if you want us to crop your image from vecteezy.com or stock.adobe.com. Enter the image ID number and which site the image is from in your order comments. You also select this this option if you have images and want us to crop to the board dimensions and do very basic layout. Basic layout is minimal layout to crop to the board specifications and make sure art is press ready. You will receive a design to review and approve. The extra fees cover the time it takes to create your design files and the extra time needed for communication of design approval.

+ CUSTOM DESIGN:
This is a 14x65 wrap + Custom Design. Select this if you are coming to us the a design idea or multiple images that you you want us to design. Anything beyond basic layout and cropping should select this option. Our designers of over 25 years will listen to what you need and crush the design. We will find images and do the design. This covers 1 hour of design work and 1 image purchase. Any addition image purchases are $10. Additional hours of design work will be invoiced at $40/hour. We will give an estimate if we think your design will require additional fees once we know the scope of your project (It is sometime best to message us before ordering so we can figure that out and so there are no surprises). You will receive a design to review and approve.

What to expect with a custom order.

STEP1: Place your order

STEP 2: A few choices for art:
- Submit your press ready files image to orders@monkeybartarps.com
- Select an image from stock.adobe.com we crop and send you a design for review
- Send us your images to orders@monkeybartarps.com and we will collage them together as a custom design
- Message us with design direction and we can design. Tip: Providing some design direction or attaching a design you like speeds up the process.

STEP 3: We review your order and art and let you know if we see any issues in quality or size. If we do, we follow up with questions to clarify any issues.

STEP 4: Our designers work on artwork for your approval. Once designed we send through Etsy Messenger. Watch for Etsy notifications or check your order messages often. We typically send art within 1 business day. It could be 15 minutes after you place your order or the next day, but we try our best to get it to you as soon as we can within 24 hours.

STEP 5: You approve (or if not approved, you send edits).

Step 6: We finalize art and get approval. It goes to next-day print and ships FedEx overnight.

We are very responsive through Etsy Messenger. If you have questions or concerns, please just ask! If you have questions about your art BEFORE you order, that’s fine. Let us know what you want and we can answer them before the order is placed!

LAMINATED:
Printed of high-quality vinyl with UV protection. After the vinyl is printed, a protective gloss laminated film is applied to protect it. This leaves the vinyl wrap with a smooth surface and adds another layer of protection from scratches, weather and every day use. You provide the artwork file either a photo we can crop to the 15x65 size, or PDF file of15x65 design with any fonts set to outline. See our image gallery for ideas.

Once ordered we will review your artwork and prepare a mockup for your review. The mock-up will be sent to you through the Etsy message center. Once you reply with approval to print we will place your wrap into production!

Please email or message us with any special requests. All wraps are custom printed to your art specifications, so if you need a slightly different size, please let us know prior to printing, as once printed we unfortunately do not accept returns.

Product specifications

We pride ourselves on giving customers the highest quality snowboard wraps with the coolest designs. When you order your snowboard wrap, know that you are getting the 3Ms industry leading vehicle grade adhesive vinyl on the market. A vinyl that is industry-standard for wrapping vehicles boats with a 5 year + expectancy.

3M adhesive vinyl is perfect for outdoor items like snowboards.  Our wraps are printed with UV coating to protect the color from fading, then laminated to protect the vinyl. Installation is simple. Just peel and stick starting at the upper edge of your snowboard then apply as you would any sticker, pushing out any bubbles as you adhere to the board. The adhesive is pressure activated, so until you really press on your board, the wrap can be repositioned. And once you have it where you want, the vinyl's air release technology makes it easy to press and remove any wrinkles or bubbles. We recommend purchasing a vinyl application kit (like they sell for cars, which can be found on Amazon). Apply heat to contour your wrap to the snowboard edge, if needed. Trim any excess vinyl with a NEW Xacto knife or razor blade, dull bladed will pull the laminate and stretch the vinyl instead of slicing through it.

We will make the wrap 1" larger than your submitted measurements so here is room for placement adjustment during your installation. If no dimensions are specified we will ship out the 15"x65" size. You choose between the default gloss laminate (default) for a glossy polyeurothane look,  or the matte option for a duller finish for your snowboard.
• 3M Print Wrap Films IJ180Cv3-10 Vinyl with Comply Adhesive (top-rated adhesive vinyl used industry-wide on cars, boats and products that need the highest level of durability, so it will stand up to anything your board can dish out.

Returns:

We accept returns for any defect in printing or materials. We do not accept returns for installation errors or having a board that is larger than 15"x65" or if your exact measurement you provide are incorrect. However, if there are issues, please reach out to us as we try our best to figure out a solution or a replacement that makes everyone happy.
