What are ski wraps?

Ski wraps are adhesive vinyl graphics applied to the top surface of skis to change their appearance. Wrap City Blue offers ready-made and custom designs, with sizing options to suit your equipment.

Can I order my ski wraps to fit my exact ski dimensions?

Yes. You can provide your ski measurements so the artwork can be scaled and prepared for your equipment. Enter your skis exact dimensions in the order comments and we will size, scale and adjust the designs to best fit on your ski dimensions.

What material do you use for your ski wraps?

Our rideable ski wraps use 3M vehicle-grade adhesive vinyl with a protective laminate. This combination is designed and meant for outdoor applications that endure mother nature’s roughest conditions. UV printed to help protect the printed graphics from fading and laminated to protect the raw vinyl.

Can I use a snowboard wrap design on my skis?

Of course! To avoid duplication of designs and products on the site, we often just select a design and place it on either a snowboard wrap or a ski wrap. But honestly most of the designs will work on either or. So feel free to browse through the snowboard wraps to find your ski wrap and vice versa. More often than not, our graphics will be adaptable, but it depends on the artwork and dimensions. Contact us at orders@wrapcityblue.com with the design you like, or simply tell us which design you want in your order comments and we’ll let you know whether it can work as a ski wrap.

Can you create a completely custom ski wrap?

Yes. You can provide print-ready artwork, choose an image for your design, or ask about professional custom design services. We’ll help you explore the options for your project.

Can I use AI to generate art for my ski wraps?

Yes, but there are some tips that can make your art generation even better, leading to better results. If using AI to generate your art, it will likley be low resolution if you do not have a subscription account. We recommend prompting this with your AI generation.  Select the most vertical format they offer, typically it will be a 1 to 8 ratio vertical banner. Be sure to measure your skis, then add 1″ to the widest and longest dimensions. Then have fun in AI. Include in your prompts “Create a design that is __x__ inches at 200dpi, 4k. this will be used for a ski, but provide the art as a giant rectangle with the art bleeding to the image’s edge. Do not crop the image to the shape of a ski as it  needs to be printed as a large rectangular sticker.” Then add in your design prompts. From there we will take your art and review it. There is a 99.9% chance we will have to run it through our subscription plan that we can with  upscale you art from low to high resolution, or regenerate the design using high resolution images. Do ski wraps include the skis?

No. Ski wraps are just the graphics on a adhesive vinyl wrap (sticker)only. You apply them to your existing skis; the skis themselves are NOT included.

Are ski wraps easy to install?

Our adhesive vinyl is designed for application to suitable smooth surfaces. For the best results, follow the recommended installation process, work on a clean surface, and carefully trim excess material with an appropriate NEW sharp blade.

Can you make wraps for shot skis or water skis?

Yes, our ski wraps can work for both. For waterskis, you would apply to the top of the ski and it would come in a set of 2. For shot skis, if you want top and bottom, you can order a regular ski wrap, otherwise if looking for just 1 wrap, you can order the shot ski specific wrap.
